At least that's how I've done it. While I do have an edu email account still I've never given it to Samsung.
I just signed up for SPC. No card but I do have a code for $250 off. How did you get the additional 5% off (via Student beans?) if you never gave your edu email?

Resetting the laptop won't work because the crap gets installed with reset. You'd need to do a fresh install with new key. Your best bet is just to remove the apps you do want.
This comment has some other suggestions of what you can disable. I'd also recommend enablr auto hide task bar and not using icons on desktop as best practice for preventing burnin.

Yeah that's why the deal is only good if you're a student otherwise the competitors(Acer, Asus, Microsoft, etc) might have better pricing.

You can pay $12 for SPC to get $250 off. That's what I did.

Just sent my trade-in back,
Lady looked at me in a weird way when she got the box and the label said 0.5pounds.
Assurant clearly pulling tricks on fedex, this weighs like 5-6 pounds easy.
It was, however, free.
Be careful, the document that you get by email states that you can get a padded envelope for free, that IS NOT the case.

I did drop off my Trade-in box in Super C Fedex yesterday. They did not ask and only scanned it.

1 min before the "Your goods are on the way!" email.
Went straight to junkmail, be careful.
It's from noreply@t.assurant.com
CorporalJenky wrote: ↑How do you do that if you're not a student?
No need, you pay 13$ and they give you access. They only really ask for student proof in-store. Most of SPC deals are accessible without student proof.
I posted the "login workaround" method a few pages back, since you'll have to order as a guest otherwise.

It doesn't matter what you select. Bloatware is part of the image. It would be reinstalled.
