It doesn't matter what you select. Bloatware is part of the image. It would be reinstalled.

Edit: Acutually this won't work for laptops. Your need to do a clean install from iso. No idea how key would work you'd likely need a new one. Also the drivers are whack right now so I would not recommend installing from scratch anyways.

For those who feel the speaker qualtiy is poor, check if Dolby is turned on in Samsung Settings. I noticed it was turned off by default. When you toggle it on, you immediately notice the volume gets louder and the audio quality gets changed (for me and my wife's liking, it got much better).

Regarding the battery life, tbh, it is a bit disappointment. I think this will last 6-7 hours when it is on optimzed & balanced mode and 8-10 hours on best efficiency and quiet mode. On a positive note, even when the laptop is on the efficiency mode, everything feels quick and smooth. I wish the power plan is controled in just one place, either Windows Settings or Samsung Settings. It is just not very user friendly.

That's really a good question. Even both of my kids are currently university and I could sign up for the SPC under their name. However, I just sign up under my personal email and make the payment online. I don't recall they ask for verification.
I wasn't really thinking SPC is for student only as I was trying to make the purchase on the last day of pre-order.

I'm lucky that the 2 most frequent Puro drivers in my area are long-time drivers and I've grown to know them over the years, so they DO knock when my car's in the driveway...but UPS always tries to pull that one on me.

That's pretty disappointing to hear, I expected a few hours more tbh. Hopefully it improves in a few cycles as windows settles down. Are you able to see real time power draw on any apps like hwmonitor or batterymon? Would be curious to compare it with meteorlake when idle/surfing/load etc.

It is still the best battery life among all the Windows laptops I have ever owned. My expectations were set too high, thanks to all the manufactures' claims.. I hope it will get better after all indexing is done. Perhaps, Samsung and/or MS can tweak the power plans better as well.

If I remember correctly, HWMonitor currently doesn't show real time power draw for this chip. I will check it later today.

so been putting my laptop through its paces the last 12 hours.

1. Havent encountered any issues with X86 Apps.
2. Ran PowerBI reports that is very meaty. It is an X86 app, and seemed the same as my other intel laptops in speed.
3. Everything even X86 apps work at the same speed as my older laptops, but ARM optimized apps are SUPER fast. Chrome is just blazing fast compared to X86 on my older laptops.
4. Unusual issue - docking iwth my lenovo USB-C dock (V2), is causing the laptop to heat up, and noticed the battery wasnt charging. Not sure what is happening but both the dock and the laptop is heating up. Dock is connected to dual 32" QHD lenovo monitors, Jabra, and LAN.
5. For those who want the battery to have a long life, be sure to enalbe the 80% battery protect.
6. This keybaord sucks. Its not as deep as an X1C, which is okay but the position of the bilingual keys is just plain STUPID.

So far, i love this laptop, if i can figure out the docking issue. I dont see how it is possible to get 15 hours out of this thing unless you baby it, but running normal ways i do with my other laptops, easily double the life of that, which is a huge win, and very likely all day battery life.

I have the exact same docking station issue but with my galaxy book 4 360 (intel CPU). My dock is a dell but the laptop Heats up when connected to my type C dock. I thought it was because I had it in tent mode or something- it'll hit 75degress up to 95 degrees with a few chrome tabs open. (Cpu usage 10%). Guess it's a samsung thing?

If I had to guess, GPU getting slammed is heating up the laptop. Would make sense considering you're pretty much pushing 2 screens + trying to power your laptop at the same time.

Very likely, i have several of these Type c docks that are lenovo, and it all does this, even with lenovo laptops, but the NO CHARGE istuation was strange. Will continue to monitor.

Purolator is such a garbage. They cannot deliver my laptop to my address due to incorrect address format but they delivered my monitor to the address.

My least favorite shipping company by a long shot.

We have the same house number as another house very close, but on different street names as their road branches off our road. Of the 8 or so Purolator deliveries I've gotten in the last 5 yrs I've had to go to that house and retrieve them 5 times. I've called, emailed, texted, everytime it's the same - a note has been made on your address.

I'm going to setup a chair outside and watch if I ever get my laptop shipped.
