She was private-duty nurse in Oklahoma City and San Diego, retiring in 1967. She 3 graduated from Washington University School of Nursing. St. Louis. Survivors include a brother.

James C. McNabney James C. McNabney, 43, Overland Park. a Vance Corp. executive, died Sept.

Earlier he worked at Kenrick Advertising, St. Louis, for five years. He attended the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. He was born in Westmoreland, and lived in St. Louis before moving to this area in 1988.

Survivors include his wife, Diana McNabney, and two sons. Allen McNabney and Matt McNabney, all of the home; his father and stepmother, Homer and Sylvia McNabney of Wheat Ridge. three stepbrothers, Cyril Isaacs. Everett L. Reynolds Everett L. Reynolds, 61, rural Versailles. a former service station owner in this area, died Sept. 2, 1992, at the home.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 12 at the chapel at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery: cremation. The family suggests contributions to the Hurricane Andrew relief program of the Salvation Army or to the Clay County Museum and Historical Society. Mr.

Reynolds owned the Claycome Skelly station in Claycomo from 1965 until he retired in 1978. He also was a real estate developer in Clay County. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He attended William Jewell College. He was a former member of the Clay County Bicentennial Commission the Clay County Historical Society and the Clay County Saddle Club.

He sponsored women's bowling leagues. He was born in Liberty, lived in this area most of his life and moved to Versailles in 1989. Survivors include his wife. Sallie B. Zajic Reynolds of the home; a son, Donald R.

Reynolds. Liberty: two daughters, Deborah Taylor and Delores Montiero of Las Vegas; a stepson, Michael D. Clifford C. Wilson Dr. Clifford Charles Wilson, 90, Walnut Creek, a former Kansas City physician, died Aug. 29, 1992, at the home. Memorial services were in San Francisco; burial in the Grace Episcopal Cathedral columbarium, San Francisco.

The family suggests contributions to the building fund of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Walnut Creek. Dr. Wilson practiced in Kansas City for 50 years, retiring in 1977. He was on the staffs at St.

Luke's and Trinity Lutheran hospitals. He was a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Proctologic Society and the Missouri State Medical Society. He attended the University of Illinois and was a graduate of the Louisville (Ky.) Medical School. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

He was a Navy commander in World War Il. He was born in Hatton, and lived in this area before he moved to Walnut Creek in 1977. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Johnstone Wilson of the home: a son, Warren W. Wilson. San Francisco; a daughter, Marianne Johnstone Wilson, Seattle: two sisters, Radia Phillips, Siloam Springs, and Nell Garrick, Portland, and two granddaughters.

FRANK BURNS JR. Frank Burns 80, central Kansas City, died Aug. 31, 1992, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services were Thursday: burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Burns was born in Chicago and lived in Kansas City most of his life. He was a shipping clerk for Blankinship Distributors, retiring in 1978. Earlier he was a shipping clerk for the Gateway Sporting Goods Co. and Laner Distributors.

He was a member of the Ebenezer AME Church, where he was steward for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Floretta Burns of the home: his mother, Leona Fulson, Kansas City: a granddaughter: and three great-grandchildren. JODA H. CAIN SR. Joda Harold Cain 65, Thornton.

Clifford Dale Crossley, 71. Independence, died Sept. 2, 1992. at a hospital in North Platte. Neb.

Mr. Crossley was born in Dawn, and had lived in Independence since 1951. He was a mechanic and foreman at the central garage of the city of Independence for a total of 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Loggers Retirement Club. He was an Army veteran of World War 11.

Survivors include his wife. Amy Crossley of the home; two daughters. Catherine Leonard, Kansas City. and Janice Davis, Independence: brother, James L. Crossley, Independence: and three grandchildren.

ROBERT L. DILLON CLIFFORD D. CROSSLEY Robert Lee Dillon. 71. Warrensburg, formerly of this area, died Sept.

CLIFFORD E. FORLOW Clifford E. Forlow, 86. died Sept. 4, 1992, in the Shirkey Leisure Acres Nursing Home.

He was a member of the Inter-City Kiwanis Club, the Fairmount Commercial Club and the Fairmount Coffee Club. His wife, Dorothy H. Forlow, died in 1990. HELEN O. GRUEBEL Helen Octavia Gruebel, 96, died Sept. 3, 1992, in the Shalom Geriatric Center, where she lived. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to Silent Unity at Unity Village. Miss Gruebel was born in Excelsior Springs and lived in this area most of her life. She also lived in Vinita, Okla. She was secretary and office assistant at office in Kansas City from 1925 to 1931: was a ward attendant at the Eastern Oklahoma Hospital in Vinita in 1935; worked at the Unity School of Christianity from 1937 to 1944; and was a secretary at the Strahm Letter Co. in Kansas City from 1950 to 1970.

She was member of the Unity Temple on the Plaza. Survivors include cousins. CHARLES B. HAILS Charles Bradley Hails, 40, Belton, died Sept. 2.

She was a secretary for the Fashionbilt Garment Co. for 10 years before she retired. Earlier she was a secretary for the Palace Clothing Co. for 35 years. She was member of the Calvary Baptist Church, 1007 Grandview Kansas City, Kan.

Survivors include her husband, Harold R. Jackson of the home, and a sister, Dorothy Hopkins, San Diego. BEVERLY A. LANDES Beverly A. Landes, 56.

Mrs. Landes was born in Wichita and moved to this area in 1959. She received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Kansas and master's degree in English from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the KU Mortar Board. She taught creative writing at the Shepherd's Center and was volunteer at St.

Joseph Health Center. She was a member of the church, where she was an elder and deacon and was president of the Women's Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, Don M. Landes of the home; two daughters, Karen S. Sage, Olathe, and Heather Landes-Kocour.

Evanston. her mother, Hazel M. Harvey, Wichita; and three grandchildren. RUBY LEWIS Ruby Lewis, 79, Milan, died Sept. 3, 1992, at Luke's Hospital.

She was a manager for stores in Roland Park, Kansas City, and Kansas City. Later she worked for the Internal Revenue Service and worked in the records department at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She was a member of the Armourdale Baptist Church. Her husband, Clyde A. Sanders, died in 1982.

Survivors include a son, Clyde L. Sanders of the home: a daughter, J. Lorene Abel, Rogers, sister, Irene Huston, Slater, five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. GALEN F. SAXTON Galen F.

He was a former member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge, all in Windsor. He was a member and deacon of the First Christian Church of Windsor. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Elsie Hood Saxton of the home; two daughters, Judith Botts, Independence, and Sharon Hope, Lee's Summit; brother, Clemmett Raymond Saxton, Laurie, five grandchildren; and five great -grandchildren.

She was a member of Professional Secretaries International, the American Business Women's Association, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Lakeview Does Lodge. She was member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Harrisonville. She was a former member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church women's club. Her husband. Perry R. Thomas, died in 1989.
